In accordance with House Bill No. 264 of 2021, prospective tax sale bidders are now required to register before any tax sale. The registration dates will be published once the sale date is confirmed with the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas. There are no exceptions to these registration dates. Registration forms and updated documents are posted in the 'Forms Needed for Sale' section to the right of this paragraph.

Northampton County Upset sale
The Northampton County Upset Sale takes place yearly in September. The date for 2026 will be Thursday, September 24, 2026. This sale takes place in Courtroom #1 in the Northampton County Courthouse. Bidder registration forms and other required documents are listed on the right-hand side of this paragraph.
NOTE: REGISTRATION TO BID IS ONLY AVAILABLE AT THE NORTHAMPTON COUNTY COURTHOUSE GOVERNMENT CENTER LOCATION AND NOT THE HUMAN SERVICES BLDG ON EMRICK BLVD. REGISTRATION BEGINS 8/31/26 THRU 9/14/26. NO EXCEPTIONS.
